BadnewsCJ wrote:If anyone needs any diff parts for their build, I have to recommend RPM Offroad. Sent my paypal in 11:00 Tuesday morning and my gears, spool, and install kits showed up Wednesday afternoon. With great prices too. And some of those parts had to be dropped shipped.

Does anyone (Will...) have 60 set up bearings here in Blacksburg?
RPM Offroad for real dude :cody: They beat all other quotes for my swampers by like $250 and they were at my house 48 hours after I called the order in :thumby:

I got the tires on my diesel from RPM Offroad. Gave me a hell of a deal.

Got the motor running last night. It runs so well it won't shut off...need to figure out why that is. And coolant blows out my passenger side header. Lovely, guess I get to do head gaskets soon.

Indeed. I'm headed out to cburg now to get the torches back from Alec so I can cut the stock roll bar out. I'll be in the garage till tonight playing with the bender. And then all next week hopefully.

For those not in blacksburg, cause I'm pretty sure the whole club was at the moontower at some point this weekend, we got some tubework done. Made a grill hoop to test out the bender, then got a decent bit done on the cage. Big thanks to Will and Zach for helping me out.

Oh, and it appears as though it may fit out of the garage. 80 ish inches to the top of the cage, 84 inches to the top of garage door opening :thumby:

I'm going to put a bend in the A pillar spreader to get the angry bar look. Thoughts on using two pieces of 1.5 as the angry bar's tying in the spreader to the dash bar? Will has two pieces of 1 inch, and I'm thinking maybe 1.5 will be too much. I'll see if I can get some pictures up by this evening to better explain.

Good news in regards to this. Leaky hose resulted in the appearance of coolant leaking from my passenger side head right by the header. As far as I can tell both head gaskets are still good to go. Yippie.

Cut a piece out of the 1.5" lengthwise and weld it back together so it looks like this ()

Ary...are you saying to cut it out weld back together so it has less of a cross section at the ends and is a fatty in the middle?

Krantz...thanks for the offer but I bought one when I got my bender, figured I would need it to do my fenders, seat mounts, gussets, etc.
