Charging Shocks
Anyone have any ideas where I might be able to get my coilovers and air bumps charged around here?
Zach has a tank but left it at home and I'm scrambling to get everything together by this weekend. Airgas said they won't do it but they would rent me a small tank for like $85, which isn't appealing.
Thoughts?

You can take a roadtrip to my house to pick it up All joking aside if you want to go to airgas with me tomorrow then I will talk to them about trading my tank from home in and you could get my dad to overnight my regulator.

It is exactly, that was my thought, although my bumps need to be charged to 200psi, so I'm not sure of the capabilities of a tire shops nitrogen setup, I imagine a bike shop would use a similar setup to what I need though. Do you know of any shops local?ridemx wrote:Is it charged with nitrogen through a schrader valve, like a MX bike shock? If so any auto shop that will fill tires with nitrogen, or most motorcycle shops should be able to do it.

What about that bike shop in Cburg (not the one I bought my bike from) that i remember someone saying Stinson used to work at? Maybe you could ask him about it or atleast go by and ask.

I don't really know of any motorcycle shops around here but the nitrogen auto shops use is stored in high pressure tanks and then regulated down to a usable pressure. You can try calling around, they may be able to do 200. A nitrogen regulator I used just this past weekend to fill tires was able to be turned up to 500psi max, it is just finding a shop willing to do it.
