How much room is in the camping area? I have an "8 man" tent that will comfortably sleep 3-4 grown folks + gear and a "2 man" tent if theres not room for something that big...but there will just be room for me.
As far as what time people are leaving...does anyone have any interest in staying in town and watching the game and leaving after? I would like to do that but I have no clue where to go so if no one else has any interest in doing that, I'll probably just keep an eye on the game via phone on the road/at camp.
Now I need to find my sleeping bag...

As far as the departure time it is somewhat up in the air. I don't want anyone to feel rushed to get ready so if you have a time constraint let us know and we will plan accordingly. Since we don't have a whole lot to do once we get out there we dont need to leave here super early just to sit around camp.

I understand where you are coming from with not having a sleeping bag. If someone was willing to let me borrow one, I will be more then happy to toss in however much to get it washed afterwards.
It really sucks not having my Jeep here yet. Along with most of my gear. It really makes it tough for me and inconvenient for the rest of you and I HATE being an imposition on others. I really want to wheel and be a part of the club in such. Even if I have to ride passenger. My mom just thinks I do need a car, blah blah blah. With that being said...
Maybe it'd be better if I just come on a single day event or something. Honestly all I currently have in the way of camping is a blanket, backpack, snacks, and bottles of water.

Get with Terry, he will bring you a bag. Don't bail on the trip becasue you dont have one. There will be plenty of tent space and right seats. I was not tryng to discourage you, I just feel that going into the mountains where it could be 40 degrees at night without a bag is not a very good idea...Snobrdrkid07 wrote:I understand where you are coming from with not having a sleeping bag. So I talked to Terry and we are planning on leaving here around 3:00, which should put us at the campground at 6:00. If someone wants to ride with us we can come through b-burg (around 4:30-5:00), otherwise we'll head to Potts directly.
Is anyone planning on bringing firewood for a camp fire? I have some I can spare, but if someone else has some I'd prefer not to haul it all that ways.

I'll also bring several unsplit pieces, my chainsaw, maul, and axe as we seem to always have a good time playing lumberjack on trips.
