Potts Mountain 31st or 1st?

Post by caseyatwell »

Would anybody be interested in running Potts Mountain on the 31st or the 1st?

This is a bit tentative for me - it depends on whether or not I can finish installing my spare TC chain tomorrow.

Check to see if its still legally open. I think it is supposed to be closed after Dec 15th.

They say it is to prevent trail damage and excess erosion caused by people driving on it then the snow melting. As long as it keeps them opening it in the spring, I'm fine with the winter closings. I'd rather not get stuck out there in the snow again myself anyways. :thumby:

Ah. Thats fine then. I had no clue it was a seasonal thing. I thought yall were saying that it is closing for good. I woulda been hella disappointed. I haven't gotten a chance to try it again with the big trans cooler on the Bronco.
