DIY beadlocks

Post by Matt612 »

Im getting ready to order some weld-on beadlocks. Wonder what everyone has used in the past pros and cons, are they all basically to same. Im leaning towards DIYbeadlocks.com from pirate. He has lots of options for $200 bucks a set. The rings are 3/16" compared to others I have seen that are 1/4". If anyone has any experience with them I would like to hear some input before I order. Thanks

Mine are from KORE. I cant remember how much I paid, maybe 250. I went with them because they were very willing to work with me on creating a custom design.

They are great.
They leak.
I blame Hipsters welder.

That said, welding them is obviously a big part of the process, so make sure you spend plenty of time on prep and quality control.
