So as a few people know one of my buddies messaged me on Facebook over the summer and said they were getting rid of there old jeep. So of course the first thing on my mind was how much and all they asked for was that I pull it away on my own and I could have it since something was wrong and it wouldn't start. Hell Yeh free jeep well I pulled up today and it was spotless and the only thing wrong was a leaky oil pan and no battery. More time will tell what is truly wrong but it doesn't look like much..

Update! Motor cranked sorta the battery was dead but it did turn over with the key so hopefully I can charge it up and clean up a fee connections and ill have a running free jeep.
Just for my own reference im posting this here but im sure it is about 75% of the starting issue. This article shows in detail how to clean up an old neutral safety switch and reinstall.

This got me no where tonight but I might not have it adjusted correctly . Also I pulled the spark plugs and all cylinders looked clean and the plugs were practically new. Things to try next are gonna be get a new battery cable because all the insulation has rotted off the ground cable and pull the starter to see if it is seized up..
