Does NRV Jeep know WE are going? They seem to be planning to camp Friday night as well as Saturday night.

Yeah, Chris N. talked to a member or two.

I just hope we can get on the trail ahead of them since we are faster.

Looks like the NRV Jeep Club is meeting at the gas station in Newport on Route 42 between 9am-9:30am.

I still think/feel that after driving back last time and taking Newport Rd (624) or taking Blacksburg Rd/Catawba Rd (785) would be faster than going out Route 42.

So if I can get the LPG regulator issue (why it keeps freezing up) figured out tomorrow I'm going to bring the Mog. If I can't get it figured out I doubt I'll go.

I hope all of you guys have a good time.

So is anyone camping tomorrow night? When are you leaving? Where are you meeting?

The GF and I are considering it because it would be cool to hang out around a campfire on a cool summer night and drink some frosty delicious beverages and tell stories and maybe make some new friends but since I have never been to this trail I have no idea where to go. Still undecided at this moment though.

Glad to hear yall want to camp now! We always have a good time, I doubt youll be disappointed. If you have access to the Members Only section, you can find everyones phone number if you have any questions or concerns. Call Will, Matt C., or myself (Alec). Like Matt said, all info is posted above. It's not hard to find my house or get to the trail, just meet up with us Saturday morning.

Sorry, just saw this after I posted. You can get back in plenty of time. We all have homework/jobs/girlfriends to do on Sunday. We'll pack up and leave well before noon. It takes about 1-2 hours to get off the trail from the field, depending on how much we play. You will have no problem getting back to town before work.
