Well I tried to replace my slave and master cylinder and it just wasn't working. I got the slave out and new one in without major hangup, but couldnt get the line to bleed. So I decided to replace the master because I was going to anyway and figure it out after. I couldnt get the master cylinder out of the tub. It isnt bolted in like the TJs, it looks like i need to turn it to get it to slide through some groves.
I am going to try again when I wake up. If i can't get it though, its going to a shop. Im tired of having it sit in my driveway and not be able to use it. And I have a lift thats been waiting to be installed until this is fixed.
So does anyone have any tips for the master and slave cylinder replacement and bleeding?
Or a local shop that isn't going to fuck me with the hourly, and is reliable with their work around bburg. I might need to get it towed there too but i have access to USAA and AAA.

This probably goes without saying, but don't go to Campus Automotive.
I can say that I have had good experiences with Auto Master Tire and Service, but that is for minor things like wheel balancing. But I like them because I once went in there for a tire balance, and the mechanic noticed my pitman arm was bad. I brought it back to get the PA replaced, but apparently he had the wrong PA. So he ended up ghetto-rigging the PA I had and that worked for about a year, but he didn't charge me anything for it.

I have heard North Main Auto is a decent shop.
