Junkyard Sway Bar

Post by redneckrapunzel »

Does anyone know much about suspension torsion bars like the ones used in 2wd yota trucks and other lighter 2wd trucks? My idea is to make a Anti-Rock style sway bar but using a suspension torsion bar instead of paying for a name brand torsion bar. However I am slightly worried that these suspension torsion bars would create a dangerous situation if they are not meant to twist as much as required by a Anti-Rock style sway bar.
I have seen where people on pirate have made sway bars like im talking about but I found very little feedback on them after someone when wheeling with them.
