Kind of a noob..

Post by DustyWK »

Hey, guys. Ive been signed up on here for a few months and now that im basically done building my wk, I have time to play. Ive done a few trails around Roanoke/boco/Christiansburg and out of state in florida. A couple friends and I are looking for places to go this weekend, anybody have any new tips or trails? Beginner trails with puddles are always fun :thumby: Ive also been trying to come to some of the most recent meets but different things have came up each time but I will make it to a meet within the next couple weeks. Anyways, I have a 08 WK with a RC spacer(soon to be replaced) with bilstein 5100's set on .75, rear with the RC spacer again(also to be replaced with OME coils) then Monroe LL's to level it out. Netted about 3.5" total lift, tires are 285/70/17 wrapped around Moabs. Thinking of trading these out for some soft 8's with 33x12.50s. Well, look forward to getting to know you guys and hanging out and doing some wheeling   Image

A couple friends and I are going to go through the Grove, which is in Christiansburg on sunday. Its about 2-3 miles south once you get off exit 118. We are shooting for around 2-3 o clock. The trail itself probably takes 2-3 hours to complete, so since theres a meeting sunday, we could all ride to that once we're done. Just an idea. Its not difficult at all, few water crossings, some mud pits and puddles and anybody that wants to come is welcome, the more the merrier! Shoot me a PM if youre interested.

The Mcdonalds right off the exit has truck parking so theres plenty of space to meet there at first.

Thanks for the kind words also, and maybe ill see some of you this weekend!
