Introductions

Post by FireByDragon »

Saw a number of gorgeous rigs in the VT parking lot and had to see what was going on. My name is Richard and I've been a Jeep owner since '90 (I sure do miss my CJ).

Current ride is a blue '01 TJ with a 4+" lift and 33s (pictured below)

Just finished the VA4WD Annual at Oak Ridge (Nelson County) this weekend.

I live in Blacksburg and work in Roanoke (software). I also wrench / fabricate as a hobby (local blacksmith) and run Search and Rescue with the Southwest Virginia Mountain Rescue Group in Blacksburg and Black Diamond in Abingdon, VA. I like long walks on the beach [wink], shooting 360 video, and pretty much anything outdoors.

Looking forward to seeing what you guys and gals are up to.

I started with leaves and scrolls, moved into knives and swords (including layered / patterned steel), had a stint in armor. Now I do yard art, flowers, hearts, bottle openers, gates, railing ... pretty much anything asked for or needed if the price is right and the materials are available.
