Figured I’d start a thread and keep all my shit documented. Attached is what my Jeep looked like about 6 months ago when I bought it bone stock for 2k. 1999 TJ sport with 4.0 L I6

Re: Big Snatch TJ Build
Over Spring break I rebuilt the front axle with new hubs and shafts out of my totaled TJ (had just rebuilt it) and did front and rear bumpers. Cut the hood and put on the louvre. And crammed my 35s also from my old TJ on it at stock ride height.

Re: Big Snatch TJ Build
This summer I put in a Clayton 4 inch long arm kit. Trussed front and rear axle with the kit. The kit runs a 3 link front and a triangulated 4 link rear eliminating the rear track bar. In the process of doing this I replaced almost the whole frame with C channels as I had some early frame rot. While installing the lift I added skids including oil pan, tranny/trans, and steering box. I then had the whole underside sprayed with a rubberized bed liner. Also added LED head lights. I’m running bilstien shocks and Clayton Springs. Added a SYE to the transfer case with the lift and added an Adams rear drive shaft. Also added a cable shifter to my transfer case.

Re: Big Snatch TJ Build
I have welded on rock sliders since my last update and have also purchased a set of tons out of an 04 F350. Sterling 10.5 rear and Dana 60 front. Also have truss, link kits, and crossover steering conversion for the new axles from Artec industries. Still need to get gears and lockers. Thinking I’m going to run 4.88s, ratcheting rear And e locker front. Also going to move up to 37s or maybe 40s..... not sure. Hopefully I’ll be able to get this done this winter. That’s the goal. $$$$$$$$$

Re: Big Snatch TJ Build
Looks good, if you go with 1-ton axles better step up to at least 39’s or you’ll actually be losing ground clearance over what you have.
