no tresspassing sign on coal hill

Post by Dred »

I was just up at the coal hill on Bobcat a little while ago and there is a no tresspassing sign posted on a tree at the bottom of the coal hill. The tresspassing part is underlined and written in by hand it says, "no jeeps or 4wheelers!" So I guess it's still ok for Toyotas! I know that years ago someone from the club contacted Hoge and got permission for the club to drive on his land. Maybe we need to contact him again and see if we can work something out. Has anyone else seen this sign or know anything more about it? :confused2:

I dont know anything about the sign in particular but this summer I went out there a few times and ran in to guite a few people out there drinking and found some trash dumps that have since been cleaned up. It might be in response to some of this stuff. Hopefully we can work it out to keep the trail open.

I definitly think we need to get in touch with Hoge and see if we can't work something out. I have noticed that there has been a lot of traffic up there lately other than us.

Does anyone know how to get a hold of the land owner?
