Bobcat clean up this weekend

Post by Trailduster79 »

Who all plans on comming this weekend? We are planning on going Saturday. The club will supply trash bags.

We will meet at Hardee's around 11 or so, whatever works best. I guess we can start at the Coal hill since that is the part that Hoge ownes, and then we can run the trail to where the cars are, and depending on what the Forest Service says, we will deal with them when we get there.

I can't do saturday, just sunday. What's left on Hoge's land is that huge dump pile. You could spend an entire day with several people working on just that pile. If you do decide to go at it, I suggest taking shovels.

Have you heard anything about what we need to do with the cars?

Haven't heard anything yet. Me or steve will call the rangers tomorrow, but I would plan on leaving the vehicles this weekend. There are enough bottles and cans between the fire circle and the mudholes to fill a couple trucks anyway.

I'd like to get an early start on Saturday for this trail clean up, 'cause I got other stuff going on later in the day. So how does 9:00 at the Citgo on Glade Road sound?

I will be there saturday, but the Jeeps brakes just went soft so if I can not find an open seat Ill meet yall at hardees on my bike or just take the bus there and ride out to the trail and just help pick up. But count me in.

If you can't find a ride to the Citgo, give me a call and you can ride with me.

The subaru has been completely removed...including all of the parts that broke off of it after someone broke out all of it's windows and drove over it with their truck.
