Tools needed can you help?
Does anyone have dial calipers and dial indicator accurate to .001 and set up bearings they could loan me?

if you have new bearings, just take your old ones, grind out the ID to where its a slip fit and use them as setup bearingsFlava-Puff Crawler wrote:Does anyone have dial calipers and dial indicator accurate to .001 and set up bearings they could loan me?
I highly recommend putting a 20 ton shop press on your third floor balcony and doing the gear installs in your apartment kitchen. It is key to make sure all your roommates think you are crazy, make sure the whole place reaks of gear oil, to drill a couple holes in the kitchen floor, and to have Wilfong "test drive" your axles while still in the kitchen.
I wish I was down there to help, I should still have my D30 and D44 set up bearings and clam shell somewhere, but that's no help.
