Tires tires tires
I pinch-flatted one of my procomps this weekend so I may be looking for my new set of tires sooner than I'd planned. I want to step up to something around 35", not ridiculously wide, and better than the generic mud terrain. I'm tired of sliding all around on the soupy stuff where the people with swampers just cruise right through. I won't be driving on the street as much anymore either. I really don't understand the differences between all the different interco tires, so I'm open for suggestions.
The Rescue Ranger: in pieces and scattered about the yard.

36x12.50 SX I ran them for a while and really liked them. They have really stout sidewalls, so they will hold up really good.

Yeah 36x12.50-15 SX's would be a good choice, but dang they will be huge under a ranger (they measure a true 36.3" tall). I'm planning on running those tires under my '79 when I get a decent set of axles built, D44 and a 9" wont live long w/ 36's under my full-size.
Other options would be some good ol' Q78-15 TSL's, they are just a tad over 35" and roughly 11" wide, 34x10.50-15 LTB's, 35x12.50R15 SSR's, 35x10.50-15 Boggers, or 35x12.50R15 Truxus's. Most of the rest of the interco tires that I know of in the 35" range are over 12.50 wide, lots in the 15" wide range. All of those tires, except maybe the Truxus, should hook up on the slick stuff pretty hard compared to your procomps, don't think you could go wrong with any of them.
