Rifle ranges around b'burg?
I'm looking for a rifle range around b'burg where I could do a little shooting, just testing loads, making click charts etc. I'd like to find one that went out to 800-1,000yds, but would settle for a 500yd range if there was one close. Thanks for any info.

Thanks for the info Krantz, I might be interested in that 250yd range if thats all thats around.
I'm really not shooting anything that I need 800-1000yds, I just would like to see how this thing groups at 500, 750, and 1,000yds, and also make a longer range click chart for some varmint loads.
Oh, and I'm shooting a .25-06 Savage 112 Varminter LP, heavy fluted 1 in 10 twist stainless barrel, dual pillar bedded, laminated beaver tail bench rest stock, Harris ultra-light 9-12" bipod, w/ Nikon Monarch UCC 6.5-20x44 AO scope mounted via Leupold dove-tail bases and Burris signature series rings with +30MOA.
Right now I'm just shooting some factory loaded 90gr P.E.P's, but I also have some 85gr Nosler ballistic tip (pushing 3,437FPS) hand loads that I've been wanting to try out. My buddy is also working on some Berger 115gr VLD's that I'd like to push out in the 800yd+ range.
Oh, and if anyone knows of some good groundhog hunting spots around these parts I'd def. be interested in that too.

There is a range (well its just a guys field that they have setup) down in Franklin co. He's got a real nice bench and targets out to 500yds. Its about an hour drive down there though, and you'd have to go with me and one of my buddies, since its a private spot. I believe someone has an 800yd range in Franklin co. as well, my buddy was talking about it last time we went shooting, not sure on the details on that one though.
