found this when I was driving home this weekend

Post by Lukipela »

Henry is this what happened to your jeep? How did you relocate the lines. Does anyone know a good, cheap way to fix the hole that the upper control arm made and have a way to keep it from making another hole. Sorry the photos are fuzzy but that was the best I could get at the time. I know that is oil all around the hole but I don't think that the hole is the cause of the leak and it does leak enough to show when I checked the oil, before I drove home and after I got home. Any ideas on how to fix it would be greatly appreciated. No wise ass remarks please.

if its not leaking id leave it, as for cheap bumpstops.....they are cheap, or you could bolt some hockey pucks to the coil buckets, or wood.....yea I had wooden bumpstops at one point hence "cheap bastard"

you could buy some of those "thorn resistant" bicycle tubes, cut em up into some squares , then zip tie or attach them somehow to wherever the normal bumpstop goes. just an idea i had :confused2:

jesus dude, theres a chance your more of a jew than i am
1)I don't know but I think hockey pucks aren't even $2 a piece just go buy some
2)the wood was kind of a joke, yes I did it but bought some real ones a month later, used wooden bumpstops? comon
3) put the 33's on, flex it out on something, and see where you want it to stop

now quit being helpless :lol2:
