Firestone on South Main can get them. They are usually about the same price as national tire and wheel.

Firestones prices are really good. I'm ordering my Q78-15 TSL's from them for $168 a tire (taxes, shipping and all), which is much better that NTW which was $179 not including shipping.

I called

Firestone Tire & Service Ctrs
1300 S Main St
Blacksburg, VA 24060

(540) 552-2581

And spoke with "Loyd" and he didn't seem to want to be bothered. I asked if they sold Interco tires and he was like, what's that, and then I said swampers and he said "oh, well I can get 'em, but I can't give you a price on them anytime soon", wtf??? Did I call the wrong store or did I just get a rediculously lazy employee? Frankly, if you can't take the time to call your distributor and give me a price then I'll take my business elsewhere.

yeah, you got a lazy employee, ask for mark, the manager.

if firestone is too much trouble, and you don't mind taking a little drive, check out cc rosen and sons... i ordered my 37" Iroks through them and tho it took a little while i got an excellent price, $178 a tire. I'm (hopefully) going up to harrisonburg tomorrow to go pick them up.

finally, i'll have some real tires...

12?!?!?! Damn, you must be real hard on tires

I just arranged to have 5 Kumho MT's installed Friday at campus exxon. They were a lot friendlier and more helpful.

I'm from the Harrisonburg area and I go home about every weekend to visit my girlfriend. CC Rosen is a good place to get tires, but they are not the cheapest in the area. Sometimes if you tell them about a lower price they will sometimes lower the price. There is a tire distribution center called Itco in Harrisonburg to. Im not sure if it is a dealer only store, but I know a tire dealer near CC Rosen's that does deal with them. Also if need be I can pick tires up from the Harrisonburg area and bring them back to Tech, but I dont know about 12 at a time.

CC rosen is where I got my SX's from, and I know that Benny got his 42's from them. I was really impressed with their prices, and the amount of big tires they had in stock.

I would defintely give them a call. They have a website, so do a google search and you will find them.

Hey John did you get your sx's from CC Rosen and if so what did ya pay if ya dont mind me asking? Maybe we could get a group order together in the next month or so to cut down on the cost to pick them up. Also are these prices from CC Rosen including mounting?

I used to work at Firestone and I was thinking about talking with Mark to see if he would give us some sort of club discount on tires. If there are a bunch of people wanting to buy super swampers, I'm sure he'd be up for it. Just let me know and I'll see what I can work out. It would probably be best if I had a list of what tires that everyone wanted so I can give him the list and see what kind of deal he would give us.

I am definitely interested and if it comes down to a 25$ or 50$ difference I am willing to pay more so I dont have to deal with the hassle of driving a couple hours to get them.

I'm interested. I am also looking at the Q78's, but haven't decided for sure yet.

Mark at firestone is a good guy.

just to clarify, it wasn't 12 for me, but 12 were ordered total... the guy said interco botched the whole order, so they should be here next week.

i think if they've got the tires in stock (the 37" bias tires are a little bit of an odd size but you gotta see the warehouse!!!) you'll find their prices are cheaper than anywhere you'll find... i know i searched around for about a month trying to find the lowest price and cc rosen beat the best price by $2 (NTW), and no shipping, just $25 in gas to drive up and back (yeah, that's right, the volvo gets 30-34 mpg on the highway... we'll see how it does with some swampers strapped to the roof...)
