hahahaha
from my experience, NAPA carries complete crap, and i havent had any trouble with autozone.
and if i get the worng part, or decide i dont need it ro somethign like that, i have never had any trouble returning the part (even if it broke because of my own stupidity).
the only time i had to go to another store was for a extra narrow gatorback power steering belt from advance (which cost about 30 bucks!)
soo.... arguing aside... anyone going by autozone this week? :)
UPS man just brought my hub and studs so im all set to fix her up this weekend.

I do like the fact that autozone carries timken

there is a Timken factory place just up the road form my house in NH... one of the places i was thinking about looking at for some sort of internship.

I’m a napa fan. Staff is knowledgeable and I have never had any issues with the parts. I’ve had bad experiences with advance junk. I have never really bought anything from auto zone, I just always classified them with advanced for some reason.

If you stop by before then, its for:
1986 Jeep CJ-7 4 wheel drive (naturally)
258 straight 6
I need a front brake rotor, rotor only, D30, 5 bolt.
It should be 24.99
let me know if you are able to get one so no one else does the same. Thanks alot!

Though I am the first to crack on anyone, even Chris err, I mean Peter. He does a great job and has helped me out a lot since it's been so busy.
As far as parts go, I probably (unfortunately) buy more parts in a week than most here buy in a month. I try to steer away from AA or AZ when I can. I'm also a big fan of NAPA, but I'm sure each stores varies from place to place. I've also had pretty good luck with O'Riley's (sp?) There is one in Pulaski now and it's doing well. Though I like NAPA, I have to tell this one on them. I needed a set of lifters for a 350, so as usual, I call up NAPA. One of the delivery gals took my call because they were so busy. A few minutes later she came back on the phone and told me she didn't think they had anything big enough to lift the whole engine.
