is anyone going to go to auto zone sometime this week?

Post by l986amcjeep »

i need a brake rotor (just the rotor) for my 86 cj7.
i tried to bike there yesterday but christiansburg is not really a mountain bike friendly town i learned.

i already ordered the hub and studs from q-tec, just need the rotor now.

if anyone is making a trip there anyways, and would like to help me out, i could ride along, or just give you some money, or pay you back (part is 25 bucks, they have one in stock)

oh, and once i get this all fixed i'll pay my 40 bucks :)

thanks in advance

There is an autozone there in town (blacksburg). You could bike to that no problem.

sandy, mike, clayton, and formerly terry were the people to talk to there, I havent had much of a chance to talk to any of the new people in there.

Another plug for advance! Even though they shafted terry on vacation... sandy, mike, and clay know their sheet.

Autozone generally carrys better parts IMO and usually has them in stock to boot.

I can't wait till there is an Autozone in B-burg.

Sorry Terry.

the rotor/hub that blew out on damnation was an autozone part..... and from experience, NAPA carrys quality parts, bumper to bumper is ok, and autozone and advance both carry crap....
