thanks rant. and i did burn two more lbs of rods into the 60 from will. and the tranny cooler the PO had put on i found to be clogged so i blew that out and it has a lot better response from the trans now.

bought a set of wagon wheels...
they are 16.5 x 9.75 and later on i plan on getting some weld on beadlocks for them.

yeh. for now though i'm probably just gonna put some 32's on it and wheel it till i find/buy the front axle i'm looking for.

It's a dana 44 out of a late seventies f250. I bought it for a $100 bucks but it has 3.54 gears so i'm gonna need to regear. Otherwise the brakes were fully intact and the pads look good so i'm gonna keep them. The hubs just look old but i'm gonna tear them down and get a better look as soon as i borrow the socket for it. And the shafts look rough defiantly need some new u-joints but more likely new shafts.
