How far is this place from Blacksburg?

I am definitely interested as long as the trail is not too risky. I cant risk destroying my Jeep cus its my only vehicle and i dont have the money for repairs right now. I broke my driveshaft/xfer case recently just driving on the highway and that cost me $1300.

I guess worst comes to worst if i feel the trail is too dangerous I can still help clean it up and stuff.

I'll be doing the same. Will said at the meeting that we can go as far up as we can or want to, then hop in with someone else or walk to the top.

So far we have had a flop, 2 broken leaf springs, broken axle joint, upper link mount ripped from the frame & broken tire rod end. Nothing too serious.

So, do you guys want to meet at 10am at the Food Lion on N. Main St.?

I will, of course, be there, but I will not be wheeling this time just clearing trail.

Should we make a list?

Sorry guys, I'm out. I forgot my Dad is coming to visit for the weekend. I would bring him out, but I'm still trying to make Windrock. I'm going to need every moment I can manage if I am going to swing it, and he's my wrenching assistant for the weekend.

Charles,
Would you like me to send my chainsaw with someone? Its an 18" bar Husqvarna 455 Rancher so it's real good at cutting shit and has a new chain on it.

To add to the list of poor attendance of officers, I have to work since I am taking off the whole weekend of windrock. I think Matt has to work as well. Group fail.

Well, its not a big deal if we postpone this event as a club and do it later after Windrock. This was planned by the NRV Jeep Club so WE can do a ride/cleanup out there at a later date.

It is supposed to be raining anyway.

Don't stress it man, we should have plenty and you can bring it when you make it out.

Sounds good.

I'm down to help you out whenever after Windrock. Just give me a call and I can give you an afternoon on the weekend when I'm free since it's so close.

I think anyone interested/planning on wheeling should definitely go. It will be a good time to get some rigs out and have fun as well as meet people. I would love to do another ride after windrock with my rig as well.

Unfortunately I'll also be missing this weekend as I'll be traveling. I'd definitely like to make it sometime though.

I was interested in coming out. I don't have a chainsaw myself, but may be able to find one... I could probably take a few people in my Jeep as well.

I am sorry, but due to weather and lack off available people, this event is no longer happening. I am sorry, we will reschedule.

Edit:

Very sorry for the late notice.
