Shrader Valley Work Day Feb 23rd

Post by CJonLP »

Just wanted to let you all know the NRV Jeep Club has scheduled a work day out at my trail on Feb 23. and has asked me to extend an invitation to our club.

Would be a great opportunity to do a run prior to Windrock if you need to test anything before heading out 5 hrs from home.

I'm down.

If I can swing it, I'd like to use this as a shakedown for my rig.

That'd be sweet. 6 Weeks out :brow:

I'm interested. As far as a 'work day' is concerned, what all does that encompass? Doing some trail cutting/cleaning up?

This will be a great event.

The NRV Jeep Club meeting is Tuesday, so I will have more info on Wednesday.

Alright, at the meeting last night we did confirm that we are heading out to the trail on Saturday the 23rd.

I think the plan should be to ride up to the top where the trail ends at this point, then clear some trail for a couple hours and then ride what we clear.

We can meet at Food Lion in the am to get started.

I am going to go through the waivers I have to make sure everyone has signed up, and those that have not can at Food Lion or out at the trail.

Any questions or comments?

Everyone excited?

Sounds good Charles. I have my chainsaw with me this time, so I'm excited

I will probably stick around for the trail maintenance, and head out to go wrench when y'all start to play.

I'm in. I guess on our way up I'll go as far as I can then hop in with someone else.
