Nice man, where did you find the frame?
Your 60 should have all the mounts for a rear sway bar off a 62. I doubt it would be that hard to extend the links on it.

I don't like that the end links on the cruisers are on the axle... so from the side from teh frame down to the links you have an "L" instead of a "7".

Frame may be a bust... bummer...

When we talk about swaybars, their setups, and rollrates, I care. That's one of very few ways to get my attention.

I *THINK* what he was getting at is that the swaybar mounts on the axle instead of on the frame/body.

I'm only somewhat literate in Chrisese though, so I could be wrong. :flipoff2:

I will remember now.. 7=frame mounted setup and L=axle mounted setup..

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT... Not the most direct verbiage, but whatever. :flipoff2:

Benny. Sorry I'll work on my termage. Can you give me a starting point to figure out what I want for the swaybar? How do I figure the stiffness or rate desired? Start with the front or the rear? Seems to me that a rear sway bar would slow the body roll down and still give the the articulation I want out of the front...

Stieny... looks damn good in the daylight... if only I could find that camera ;)

Update. Frame officially fell through. "rust free" ment "I haven't found any rust" but boy it was a few taps away with a screwdriver... bummer.

So, plans are a changing! Wife and I are talking about moving to Utah/Colorado so that'd solve my rust issue. I could just buy a new one! So no cage, no frame swap.
It'll be:
-t-case rebuild
-fix the bad rust (ie the holes Steinburg already cut out)
-re-fab the crossmember to hold the t-cases and mild belly pan
-drivetrain lift- move so I can get a fan shroud on and run equal legnth drive shafts
-did someone say paint? :confused2:
-hopefully I can still regear and maybe.. just maybe get some Pitbull tires...

I'm thinking if the blue goes so will the bad luck... and it won't look like the other two 60s in town :rainbow: what are the chances? 3 60's... all blue...

Cut the rust out of the drivers side floor... metal goes back in this week

Paint covered really well on the drivers side... passenger side has the spray piant streaks... it's too cold out there for the rattle can anyway... so it'll have to do till spring :flipoff2:
