Before we get to the shitfarm catastrophy that is Rausch 2015(yeah... another "memorable" wheeling trip in the shitrunner... what a surprise... :flipoff2: )
Time for a quick update to get us up to speed.

After the infamous potts trip, it was time to do a little rehash on my shitbucket.

First on the list was fresh ball joints, inner and outer tie rods.

And of course since Im a starving poor asian.... Driveway alignments with tape measures and tape. Home alignments are really only good for toe and camber. I used the rear axle as reference to set the front toe straight. Didnt really fuck with camber, did the ol "looks straight to me method." Oh yeah, also got myself some cheap ass factory 17" alloys for $75 for all 4 so I could mount some basically new 37 KM2s!!!! :sheila: :sheila: :sheila:

Nothing sexier or more retarded than 37s double lockers on factory ifs on basically stock axles with shy of 1" of lift(I like my shit low) :cjerk: :cjerk: :cjerk: Did have cut a fuck ton extra out the inner fenders and firewall to get those chunky meats to fit at full stuff. Body lifts are :rainbow: , dont believe in them besides maybe for flat bellying purposes, but thats a GayJ problem.
Oh! And in the spirit of breast cancer awareness month, got me a fancy new 60" hot fucking pink Hi Lift Jack! Sold my 48" so figured I needed a new one anyways.

Just started going through the thread and im building my own shitlift for my runner. I got the TRD tundra stock shocks...kinda look like yours. Are yours just LC stock shocks?

Yeah, I have LC shocks in the rear. They work and give me the travel I need, but theyre blown and I already have plans for a new 4 link after I relocate the gas tank, so just gonna wait to rehash the rear suspension.

The Infamous Rausch Trip of 2015

In a land far far away.... jeep fags around the nation gathered to show off their aluminum clad GayJs and GayKs only to look pretty sprawled around the camp area that is Rausch Creek Off Road Park for the annual wheel to heal event held at the park, however, thats just part of the story almost irrelevant cuz we went for our own wheeling trip not pertaining to the Jeep Event, but anytime I get to shit on jeep fags is always fun. Anyways, we'll start with the journey.

Ch 1. The Journey
Ahhh yes, the start to a memorable trip. We all met up at the Tom's Creek house around 530 all packed and ready to go! But whats that, our club president at the time, Sam, still doesnt have his shitbucket ready cuz his parts are at the post office?! Not to fear our resident Jeep Forum God came to the rescue! Michael used his usual white girl telephone bitching skills to ensure that the post office stay open late enough to acquire the said jeep part. The rest of us, however, were ready to go and head for the open road while Alec and Sam stayed behind to get the Jeep running.

Twas myself in the ShitRunner, Patrick in his Rubi GayKU, Nick in his AlumiGayJ, and Hughes in his GayK. All was well, hope in the hearts, gas in the tanks, and excitement in the air. Well.... for about a whole 50min when Nick's turd bucket decides to start shitting hershey squirts of ATF all over 81... excellent...

We werent entirely sure why it was doing that, but his trans sure didnt like interstate speeds and seemed to be overheating. So we all stopped in some random town that managed to have an advance and decided to buy an auxiliary trans cooler and ATF and install it in the parking lot. By this time it was prolly around 9 and we still havent made it past the border of Virginia. Figured while Nick and Michael were getting the cooler installed, I could do my part by opening up my tool box for their disposal, taking a lovely shit in the advance restroom, followed by a nice nipplely cold nappy poo on the bench outside the store. Unfortunately approximately an hour later, they finished putting the cooler on, and much like an angry panda bear being awaken from his slumber, I was dragged off my hobo bench and back into the death contraption that is my 4runner.

On the road again... the slow boat to Rausch continued as we headed on the side roads piecing the air in front of us at a break neck speed of 40mph. Nicks trans seemed to behave itself as long as we kept the speed low. Eventually, we made to camp around 2AM, sleep deprived and with spirits quite very low. Alec and Sam were only a few hours behind us. It was finally time to pass the fuck out before we hit wheeling hard in the morning.

Ch 2. Wheeling Day 1
Well, needless to say, we were all still tired as fuck, but we came to wheel, so we're gonna wheel! Shoved a few fists full of cheerios and washed it all down with some hatoraid and I was good to go! Started the day with a nice light short trail. Everyone seemed to be doing just fine and everything was as peachy as can be.

After that little cock tease of a trail appetizer, it was time for the meat and potatoes, the main course, right? Nah, fuck dat! Dessert time! DAAAAAA COMP COURSE!!! We had pretty much the whole park to ourselves for most of the day as the event jeepers didnt start showing up till later in the evening. This left the comp course pretty empty and open for defiling purposes!

The next thing i hear after about 15min of fucking around on the comp course is Alec yelling from across the course, "Hey Wong! Go hit that double hump obstacle I just did! It was pretty fun!" And I figured , "meh why not?"
So la dee dah, just cruised over and started crawling the obstacle. Got up the first part of it and then turtled it at the top of the obstacle. No moving back or forth, just stuck.... At which point Alec and the rest of the inbreed dinguses came and said "we'll give you a quick push off" okeedoke...

well...I was off the obstacle...

It was dead silent for about 2 seconds and then the only thing I hear is shrill squak of Michael's fatass screaming, "FUCKING DICKS!!!! THE SANDWICHES!!!! NOT MY SANDWICHES!!!!" This fucking kid decides to pick up his fucking sandwiches before he even checks to see if Im still alive...
but crawled out my coffin without even a scratch.

Had nick mosey his stupid jeep over and winched the fat bitch back over, it looked pretty rough, but it started right up with not even half a puff of smoke. bent the bumper out and drove the turd bucket back to camp and had lunch. Best part, was after the rolling I was expecting to have blew out all the glass, but not a scratch on my windshield and the 4 side windows and rear window all rolled up. Only broken glass was the moon roof and the two back windows.

Pretty sure at this point everyone thought I was done wheeling, but I aint bout that Jeep fag life. I also paid for two days of wheeling so I was gonna get two days of wheeling. Soooooooo while these twat waffles were taking a nappy poo in the GayJ....

Ch 3. Day 2 Wheeling!!!!
Will and Nick Mayfield showed up pretty early with their buggies and were ready to fuck shit up, so we tried to go meet up with them at rock creek and not 10min into the trail, Nick Barranger's trans decides to shit a fat brick... So tugged his turd back to camp and they rode with me back on the trails.

Back on the trails, we met up with will alec and nick and headed for rock creek...

....And then decided to blow 2 cvs within 10ft of the rock garden. Took the bypass around to the top and swapped in my spare CV. Bunch of deuchey FJ guys were looking at me like theyve never seen someone replace a CV on trail. Had it replaced within 20min.

Not much happened after the rock garden, we hit a few other trails and then it back to camp for the usual camp shennanigans, but not after we made a run to tractor supply for a tow bar....

The convoy back, was quite the interesting one to say the least. Nick bought us all McDicks.
Still the best trip I've been on and definitely the most memorable. Also the trip that truly epitomizes the shit in ShitRunner.

That was one of the best trips I've had though! Nick's shitty transmission x5, parking lot transmission cooler install, the longest time it has ever taken to get to Rausch, rolling, laughing, smashing, and hitting things with hammers. :thumby:

November 2015

So.... post roll left a lot to be fixed and I figured I'd upgrade any broken parts. If anything, the roll just kind of expedited the build.

For instance, I had headlight projectors and HIDs sitting in my car for a few months and figured this would be a good time to do retrofits and blackout the headlights.
Also had some DOM and donated aluminum sheet metal laying around for a while so built a quick and easy front bumper given my old one was way fucked.

Also lost turn signals and running lights since they were in the bumper, so I built them into the retrofits as amber halos

Thanksgiving break 2015

Got a few things done over break. My old hood was pretty fucked and as much as I like the ratty shitty look, a used hood from the junkyard was $30 so why not.

December 2015

So for my 21st birthday we went on a quick trip up to potts. Nick's slampiece #2 bought me a lovely olaf cake that we brought with us to potts. Didnt really have much pics from that day, but broke another two cvs on washout :lol2: , broke/lost my cb whip and lost a shackle prerunning out of potts. Also got kicked out of tots for puking in the trough that night, but thats another story. Although this build thread could be viewed as literary vomit, so maybe not completely unrelated... :confused2:

Anyways, to keep those with a short attention span from going into a seizure, hurrs som pictaars! :loser:

In other news for that month, I needed to get something done to the gaping hot-dog-in-a-hallway vagina sized hole in my roof being covered up by the metaphorical maxi pad that is gorilla tape. Solution: aluminum! High quality, "donated" aluminum courtesy of Pi Lamda Phi. ;) Why, you ask? Cuz racecar, thats why and it also gets jeep fags wet and horny and bitches be-a-flockin! :brow:

Winter break 2015-2016

So in the spirit of winter and my favorite seasonal Disney movie....

After the roll, the third set of stupid plastic tail lights had bit the dust. Also, since my turd bucket doesnt have a two letter nomenclature ending "J" :rainbow: no one makes steel light boxes it. But since I had some steel lying around, a grinder, two batteries, jumper cables, and some coat hangers figured Id make my own tail light housing, but also sitting on my ass getting fat, watching daytime tv shows like Judge Judy and stuffing my face with anything I could find in the fridge gets old after a few days. My third brake light bulb also shit itself, so I made a steel third brake light plate with provisions for LEDs.

Both sides done! Flappy discs make the world go round! :cjerk: Had to massage the steel, not unlike those cheap Vietnamese ho's that work "Happy Ending massage parlors" , to work with the weird compound curves of the body.

Preventative maintenance is pretty low on the to-do list, so to say the least, I got really bored one night. Got a set of valve cover gaskets for free and mine were leaking so I figured, why not. Also replaced all the spark plugs with new Densos and also got Denso wires and did a quick annual oil change :lol2:

YotaFag fun fact: Most modern Toyotas come from the factory with NGK spark plugs on one bank and Denso spark plugs on the other. :bs:

Last thing I did for break was a Lunchbox locker for the front. Welded front diff was pretty cool and a cheap solution to get locked for an IFS truck, but also pretty fucking stupid! Makes turning in 4wd a complete bitch and a half and on top of that it puts a fuck ton of stress on the already weak CVs. It was like night and day going from a welded front to having a locker. Definitely helped snapping the CVs, but didnt completely solve the issue, but more on that later.

Went with a spartan locker cuz it was the cheapest. Also, I was in luck as yukon was having a special deal that month, you buy a $200 koozy and you get a free sticker and free locker of your choice! :brow:

Another significant reason I went with a lunchbox is cuz on the last Potts trip, I managed to snap the inner splines off the driver CV inside the diff itself and also broke the splines off the stub shaft on the other side of the diff. This left a diff with pieces of shaft splines broke off inside without a way of getting them out. Luckily, I had another carrier laying around, so I just used that for the lunchbox, but it also meant that I had to redo the gear setup. It seemed like an appropriate time to put in a solid collar as well since there was some play in the pinion preload. Not gonna go over how to regear the front diff, theres already a thread in tech section, so you can exert the extra little effort for a few extra clicks and find it yourself. :loser:

Can conquer anything in my path with my yellow turd. My truck doesn't burn oil it burns transfer cases at mile marker 187. My truck doesn't get dented it simply molds to it environment becoming faster and more agile. Patches is made from fence posts that were used to keep in the monsters from hell. Patches doesn't have horsepower, it has god power. Patches doesn't drive over rocks, it forces them beneath it because it is superior.
