Yea that all makes complete sense, its just hard to really know what actually maters vs what is BS when it comes to reading what others have said is the best. I am gonna disregard frequency balance between front and rear of the vehicle because as you showed i don't know nearly enough about my rig or the coilovers (mounting or valcing) to be able to calculate the final frequency.

Next topic to discuss is what type of limiting strap set up to run, I am thinking just running a central strap, this will keep me from ever binding my drive shaft u joints which i feel like is one of my biggest problems. I am not really worried about ever damaging my shocks by dropping all the unsprung weight of one corner on them with my current set up because it is so light compared to many rigs that run similar coilovers with 1 tons and 40's. Also with the slower type of wheeling that we mostly do i dont ever imagine elongating my shocks quickly enough to max length to where they will be slammed hard.

I do feel confident that these Bilsteins could act as the limiting factor them selves because right now my 5100 are my limiting factor and the 9100 are built much larger in every aspect.

For a crawler/trail rig I definitely wouldn't sweat using the shocks as the limiters, they will be fine. If there is any way you can get the rig sitting on the shocks before you order springs, I really think that will make things easier for you. If you want, You can borrow the springs off of my 2.0 shocks to test with/run while you order the correct ones. Another option to consider is a lot of vendors offer a free spring exchange program when you need to swap rates, as long as the ones you're returning are "unused". If you wrap them in shrink wrap or similar to keep them from getting dirty or dinged, I'm sure you could run them for a bit. Then when you have your final rates determined, you can send them back.

I can't remember if I told you about this thread:

I bought and sold my setup springs for a wash. Good option if you just want to get some springs in quickly.

Due to the fact that I have recently became employed and am working this week coilovers have been put on hold for a while.
However even if i was home this week they would have not been done because of the great company poison spyder. Who which i will never order from again due to the fact that they have been scamming people with there "free calender". Also because i ordered rear coilover mounts 2 monday's ago (March 2nd) and was told they would ship immediately. well guess a week and a half later is immediate for poison spyder because when I called last night they had not shipped the parts yet. (turned out to be ok because I will now have them shipped to my house in BBurg.)

The hoops showed up today for the front upper mounts (in Maryland) luckily gus is gonna be driving back from there next weekend. So by then I will have every part i need to do this and start to work on putting them in asap.

SO as of now all i have is sweet looking coilovers

and a truck to base my new paint job off of

however unlike that truck i think im gonna only use 1 12inch stack instead of two.

Because of how awesome poison spyder is I cancelled my order and am making my own upper coilover mounts

What happened with poison spyder:
I called them yesterday and asked where my order was (i order them exactly a month ago), the guy informed me that they had not shipped it yet because I never paid for the product. Seemed strange to me since i gave them my credit card. SO i have no idea what happened to poison spyder but they suck now, never gonna order from them ever again.

half way there... just one brake caliper flip (gonna be a pain in the ass- have to pull cclip shafts YAYAYAY :crybaby2: :crybaby2: ), a whole lot of welding, and finding a way to charge the coilovers ( not sure how this is gonna happen yet :confused2: :confused2: )

After about 20-25 setups i finally found mounting locations that worked and will clear the coilovers, however i still need different wheels which i have at home ( not very helpful here   ) Now the vehicle is sitting on its own weight and came out about level (pure luck). Hopefully they will be charged soon and ready to go
