After talking to many people (alec) for a long time (5 min) I believe i will be on coil overs all the way round for big dogs. unfortunately I have to go out of town this weekend so that means the front will get done over the coarse of the following week starting monday, should be alot easier than the rear. Anyone that could help i think we will probably work every afternoon till they are done.

Gonna be so freaking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the coilovers drive awesome, so smooth compared to before and flex like crazy and best of all nothing has broken yet.

Looks pretty sweet. I should be pretty free next week, so I'll volunteer as much as possible.

After one afternoon alot of progress was made and the coilovers should be fully on by wednesday night. As of right now the hoops/upper mounts are all mocked up. Its amazing how much easier the front has been thus far than the rear. The already narrow frame makes fitting the coilovers much easier and allows for a lot more tolerances on mounting points.

I'm curious to know if you are planning to tie the two hoops together across the top of the engine.

I have some DOM and am just gonna run a bar across over top of the motor with a miter joint in the middle and flanges on the ends to unbolt it. Much like what most rigs have across the engine. There is a lot more space and clearances than appears in the pictures.
