Nah, trying to keep the current stuff together. I am working on swapping the 14 bolt out of my 97 with a newer disk brake 4.10 14 bolt 10.5" or 11.5", and swapping the front diff for 4.10 gears. Then I still need to do injectors and timimg chain on the 6.5.Leach wrote:You starting the new project yet man?
I need to fix my front shaft on the Blazer which includes swapping in my 32 spline output, and then I think going in the direction of a 1350 CV from a Superduty.
How is your Heep coming along?

I have no idea of the WMS of these 14 bolts, but you are welcome to stop by and measure them. FYI, if you are considering disk brakes, I don't think anyone is making brackets for these yet (at leat not inexpensive ones). They aren't the same as the older 14 bolts.BlueDodgeRam wrote:if i have the time/figure out the fab work needed to get a 14B under my truck, i may be interested.
whats the WMS measurement on 14Bs? ~67"?
damn dodges and their speed sensor tone rings in rear diffs
What does the speed sensor on the rear do? Just rear ABS or speedo?

its rear ABS and speed sensor. without it, the truck wont go above about 30mph
i could run a Dakota Digital speedo box so itd run off the tcase(s), but its quite wiring involved. id lose rear ABS, but i doubt it helps anyways with 37"+ tires

Sounds cool. Which one do you want. the 4.10 or 3.73? I will hang on to whichever one you want for as long as you need (it'll be here, just bring me some cash when you are ready). I am going to put the other one up on CK5 and Pirate to see if I can move it.BlueDodgeRam wrote:james, if you still have either/or August 18, i might stop by and check em out. i gotta move back to Lynchburg till the 17th tommorow/Tuesday, so ill keep ya posted.
