Seems like an odd place to do it.

I doubt it, but its definitely worth a shot. I think your biggest problem would be your shock hoops. I don't think that would qualify as stock type suspension.VerticalTRX wrote:Interesting.
I wonder if I could weasel my way into the B Class modified stock?
-35" tires: check
-Stock type suspension (long arms ok): more or less, lol
-Stock wheelbase: check
-No motor swaps: no no, that's actually a 302
-Lockers ok: check

Nah, I'm not planning on going. I have too many trips planned this spring already.tsmall07 wrote:I doubt it, but its definitely worth a shot. I think your biggest problem would be your shock hoops. I don't think that would qualify as stock type suspension.VerticalTRX wrote:Interesting.

or you could let the less fortunate (me) buy it for a wheeling rig, that is if it runs. but im guessing you want to part it out.MtnToys wrote:I’m supposed to be picking up a stock 84 excab yota in the next week or so for $200. I think I just found the perfect use for it

Sounds good to me.TheGr8Doughboy wrote:dude... I'll tow it down for a passenger seat...
It runs great, just has some bad cancer like any east coast yota. Yeah, my original intent was to part it to make some $$.Yoda wrote: or you could let the less fortunate (me) buy it for a wheeling rig, that is if it runs. but im guessing you want to part it out.
As a side note...you have a new jeep. How do you qualify as less fortunate

If and when I actually have the truck in my possession, ill talk with ya. Maybe we can trade cabs but I doubt the body mounts line up.Stinson wrote:How much for the cab? Im sick of not having any damn room!
With any luck you probably won’t want the cab once I’m ready to sell it

If I thought I had a chance in hell and could find someone to pay my way(entrance fee/get my rig down there) I'd do it. Or, if there was some way I could sneak into the B-class by running 35s, I'd do it too.
Edit: Nevermind, couldn't do it this year anyway, it's during graduation. Took me way to long to get here to miss graduation
Maybe next year, if they do it again. Need more power and/or lower gearing first.
