OK, message board is up... We'll see if this all takes off or not. Going to work on shifting to a black and white colorscheme to match the site, and some other stuff like obscene smilies. Shoot me any suggestions.

what about access restrictions. part of the club dues is for access to the listserv. with this bbs, i can see the listserv going by the wayside
or create a locked forum where trail rides, misc club talk, nudey pictures will be talked about and then have a general place for the commoners

yeah, that can be done, just gotta decide where to draw the line
like should non-members be able to at least view the forums but not post maybe? or there could be a designation under there avatar "Non-member" like where mine says "site admin" and Stallings' says "Club officer".
it's possible, but the procedure would need to be hammered down.

the biggest benefit of being on the listserv is for trailrides and making fun of broncos
so my vote goes for creating a restricted trailride forum. and add a description for non-members so we know who they are.
and perhaps a restricted member lounge for posting way off-topic stuff we wouldnt want to get in trouble with VT for, aka boobie shots.

Ghey...
Just kidding, I think this will end up being better than the listserve, but we'll see.
I guess we'll have something to talk about at the next meeting...

you know your frame flex is bad when you can see it in a little avatar
is the black area around some of your avatars appearing when you upload them or were they like that to begin with?

Steinberg. What's up with pic uploading? Is it non-existent or do we just need to link pics to another online source?

Right now uploading files is non-existent. That feature is an add-on that I have no problem installing. For now you'll just have to link remotely until I get an hour to add the file uploading.

Will this uploading cut into our VT server space? And how much are we allowed?
