Trail ride?

Post by hoki06 »

Hey guys, I think I posted on here a while ago buts its been a while. I got to VT, have a YJ on 35s at home and a '99 Grand Cherokee here at school as my DD. I wish I could get the YJ down here but its waiting on a new transmission right now so it won't be down this semester. I did a spring over on it this summer and haven't been wheeling since the middle of the summer. I'm itching to go offroad so I'm think about using the Grand. Its stock with some Revo's so nothing too bad, just trying to get off the pavement. My buddy who graduated from VT several years ago suggesting talking to you guys and seeing if you wanted to run up to the Mountain Lake trail one day. Anybody interested?

My friend said its north of Blacksburg. I'll ask him for more specific directions. If you guys have any other trails that a stock Grand Cherokee can make it through, please feel free to suggest them. I know there are other trails in the area, that one was just suggested to me.

If you go to Mountain Lake, STAY ON THE TRAIL. do not go in any mudholes, bypasses, whatever.....

We are having a trail clean up on Bobcat shortly. Not entirely a trail ride, but you'd get to see some of the trail and whoop the grand a little
