hey guys...

Post by speedntriple »

Hey fellas, thought I'd drop by and say hello. Sold a windshield to a dude on scc4x4.com and they mentioned I should holler at ya'll too... I own the property on bobcat on the left as you're going out towards the mines.. I recently put up a gate as its always a battle keeping stolen stuff and trash outta there... I'm gonna start building my house shortly... anyways... I'm going to start work on the road to grade and widen it some... if you guys could just do me a favor and take it easy thru there that'd be killer.... I wouldn't mind some help working on the road either  sorry for the long post... dan

Welcome...

Is this the lot that was for sale several months ago? Somebody had pointed out a craigslist ad for it at that time. Are you a new owner or the original one?

We are all too familiar with the trash problem up there. We've hauled quite a lot of trash and vehicles out from the coal hill area and beyond over the years.

Let us know when you're planing on doing some work, and if you ever want to go for a ride feel free to post up :thumby: I don't blame you for the gate, our club does a few clean up runs a year to try and keep the trash dump from growing. There might be a ride this weekend, if you want to tag along.

Dan,

Pretty sure I got a card from you at the gas station in blacksburg. I was on my KTM with Travis Jones and his father. If you need help with anything out there let us know.

Right on guys! The replys are much appreciated.... Yeah I finally closed on the property back in July.. we had been in a contract since oct. of 07... lots of issues with the right of way and the parcel closest to the road being land locked... finally got it all worked out.. Been trying to sell my old house for the past 1 1/2 years with no luck, finally decided to rent it out... anyway I'll be out there soon in my camper, starting on the new house, but you guys should def. stop on by anytime,... stinson man, yup that was me brother... trav will vouch for me, I'm cool, (didn't wanna come off like a dick) I'm glad to be living near where fellow gearheads play..no worries...

I wondered if we'd see you out there this last saturday. I didn't see a trailer out on the lot so figured you weren't around. When are you "moving in"?

I'm trying to get some of these slackers out for a trail ride tomorrow, so we might see you out there.

Bobcat update...

Post by speedntriple »

Hey guys, just wanted to drop by an update you guys on the old Bobcat Lane.. I've met a few of you, Eric and Dave if I remember correctly... super nice guys... I've got my camper out there and my dogs and have been working on putting up fence.. As a favor I'd like to ask you all to take it slow past my place... My lab Caleb gets crazy around vehicles, atvs etc.... and as a heads up for all you that trail ride out here... I've met the guy that purchased 160+ acres out here... all those orange flags you see are his doing. He has plans to sub divide the property as well (I don't see how.. bc the dirt is junk...) he gave me a hard time the other morning before he found out that I owned property out here also.. He says he is going to put a stop to all the trail riding and is going to put gates up... Just wanted to say that this is all him and absolutely nothing to do with me. I don't know when he plans to do this but I imagine it to be soon as there where several dudes out with him the other checking out the area in Kubuta UTVs... I've also been able to watch several pickup trucks come out here with a bed full of trash only to return with an empty bed... Anyways, sorry for the long post guys, just wanted to say whats up... Dan
