Seems im plagued with wheel bearing failures at inopportune times ... first the jeep, now the jetta.

thanks to everyone that helped me out tonight. Caleb, Leach, Stinson, McNinny, and especially Logan and his g/f (sorry, cant remember her name) for coming to pick me up.

if i can do anything to help any of you in the future, let me know.

Cliffs: jetta, 81 south, mile 77, 75 mph, left rear wheel bearing let go, took me (inadvertently) across two lanes of traffic and almost into a concrete barrier ... then back across two lanes of traffic and onto the shoulder ... not as much fun as it may sound. me needs new wheels.
