my hood wont pop

ino this sounds really stupid but the hood on my cherokee will not pop, i have already checked the wire and it is still in tact, the hood is closed all the way, it just will not release. if anyone has any sugesstions let me know before i just cut around all the latches

beat on the corners where the latches are while somebody is pulling the handle, its worked on both of my jeeps for me

And lube them well after you get it open. WD40 should do the trick.

Once you get it open check the alignment of the latches and make sure the striker and catch line up evenly when you close it. If they arent lined up evenly it can put pressure on the latch not letting it open.

And pray that your cable isn't snapped. I've read horror stories of people cutting in through the inner fender wells to open the latches when the cable snapped.

damn that sucks, mine pulled apart at the handle on my 95, guess I was lucky that all I needed were vise grips.
