rock sliders

Post by d_OOT »

I havn't had any luck finding any used ones. These seem like an ok deal to me. What do you guys think?

I was looking at the 67" ones for 190$ and its another 21$ for the plate and gusset kit, though I think I may be able to find some plate for cheaper. My concern is the outer wall is too thin.

That seems to be the most common size used but I have noticed they dent a lot easier than I would have expected. If denting is a concern to you look into square sliders. I know most people dont like the look of square but they dont seem to dent as easily.

I'm rockin the trail gear sliders on my 85. They're dented (not bent) but you can only see the dents when you're laying on your back. I'd make them next time.

The plate kit is worth $20 for not having to dick around.

Alright, I think Ill order em after spring break. I don't mind denting as long as they don't fail and I just don't like the look of square tubing

I flipped my truck in a ditch. Those sliders caught the pavement and kept it from going all the way over. I'd buy em again.
