Old Man Trows Truck

Post by Ctrow »

I laid the poor old XJ to rest in the scrap yard…and got this :thumby:

4.0L motor
435 trans
208 T-case
D44 front
9” rear

Buddy was selling it and I couldn’t pass up the deal. Not pretty but it has the right parts :sheila:

I'm running my 36s for now. Thats why I was looking for wheels. Broke down and bought new ones. There are a few thing s I'd like to do, but it's a turn key wheeler as is.

Ya granny gear :thumby: Ended up parting out the XJ. Made enough money to pay for the MJ and still have a few things left. Anyone need a 4.0L motor? A$$hole had me spend a day in the rain pulling it and never showed up. I still have my front bumper up for sale aswell.

Ya the "Fuzzy 2" sticker is coming off. Still have the front bumper, engine, trans and few other odds and ends. Looking for a winch bumper for your XJ? Its the same one I had in highschool

Oh ok.. no I already have a winch bumper I was going to see if you still had your rear bumper. The plan is to build one this summer but i figured if you still had yours I might snatch it up. What gear raito are in your 44/9" I bet it crawls awesome with the crazy low first gear

Wont be till later this summer when things have settled down with the little one and work. I thought about the May 20th trip, but I think that will be to soon.
