Hello my name is Gus, I am a sophomore at Tech. I heard about this group from someone in my Differential equations class. My family has been into 4x4s my whole life so I was glad to hear there was a 4wd group.
I am from southern Maryland so unfortunately my rig is not here, at least yet (hoping to trailer it down if i can convince the parents). Currently I am finishing up a frame off restoration on a 1977 Bronco, just need the wheels and tires to come in.
Engine
-302 bored .030
+mild cam, Dart Pro 1 racing heads, Edelbrok performer intake manifold, Headers with dual exhaust, Holley 4 barrel carb, racing rockers and valves.
-Suspension
+5.5 inch lift with dual shocks all around, shock hoops up front, extended radius arms, custom steering link set up,
-Drive Train
+NV3550 transmission, Atlas 5 to 1 transfer case, 5.13 gears, Truetrac differential up front, Detroit locker in the rear, 4 wheel disk breaks.
All soon to be sitting on 37 inch tires with 17 inch double beadlocks.

Me and my brother (freshman at Tech) also have 2 Jeeps a 97 wrangler(he drives) and a 97 Cherokee we are about to redo the suspension on.

Welcome to the club, try to make the meeting this Sunday if you're interested in meeting everyone and hearing about the trips we have planned for this semester.

How about some pics of that Bronco

Hey Gus,

That was me, Alec. Make sure you come out Sunday. You still have my number? If not. Shoot me a text or call if you have any questions/need a ride or whatever.

Post up some pics, the one I saw in class was :sheila: :cjerk:

Go snooping around on the forum and check it out. There is a whole other private section that dues paying members get access to as well. There is a bunch of relevant information in the Announcements section and 4WD Club Related section.

Oh, and tell your Dad, after all that work, it needs to be used like it was built, not sit at home and collect dust.
