With the Harlan trip date looming and project 4-link running behind schedule, I gotta ask for some help.
Although most all the parts needed to get rolling should be here by tomorrow, I'm gonna need help this weekend with hopes of getting the majority of the suspension built by Monday. Stables is also going home this weekend, so it'll be just me.
What I need the most help with is the welding. I know how, but I'm way out of practice and even though I plan to brush up and get back into it, I don't have time before the trip and need these welds to be good.
We have Stables stick and mig welders here at the house, but a trip or two to Alec's shop may be in order as well...
I also want to welcome anybody else whos interested in helping, watching, and learning to come out for a weekend long tech session!
Last but certainly not least, I want to say thanks in advance to anybody who decides to come out and help!!! You are welcome to all my (except Alec I don't know if I can keep up my supply) and I will always be happy to return the favor!
Thanks a lot guys

Your upper link material most likely wont be here in time. And, motherfucker, if you think you're coming to my shop, I'm going to drink as much beer as I feel is fit...

I will be happy to help Matt, but I will be gone all weekend except sunday and on sunday I plan on working on my shit to get it ready for Harlan. I think everyone who has the ability to help is going to be getting their own rigs ready for the Harlan trip, I think in the long run you will be better off to take your time, get all your parts in then one weekend when we all have time we can build it right. Harlan is just not feasible for you i don't think man, we will get it right though. Once you get the tube we can knock it out in a day easy.

If you will help me this weekend Alec, you can have all the beer you can drink! ...I may regret thatBadAssEddie wrote:Your upper link material most likely wont be here in time. And, motherfucker, if you think you're coming to my shop, I'm going to drink as much beer as I feel is fit...
And Matt, thanks man, I understand what you're sayin, but I REALLY wanna go to Harlan. It's my home court. And if we could knock it out in a day, then we should be able to finish in the next week if I have a bit of help.
I have all the axle bracketry, heims, and lower link tubing, so the axle end and lower links could be done this weekend. Then I just gotta weld the frame brackets on during the week, and throw the upper links together.
I've got most of the angles and stuff figured, I just need a bit of help if folks can spare it...
