garage to change TB mount

Post by Jay12 »

Hey I have a cracked weld on my tb bracket causing some death wobble and I'm getting a new one shipped to me. I'm trying to see if I can use anybody's garage to change it out when it gets here before I leave for break. I'm not sure when it will be here yet but hopefully by this weekend. I appreciate any offers.

I'm the guy with the red tj on racelines btw

or if anbody thinks they could weld this back up then that would work as well

I would just weld it for the ride home and bolt the new one on when you get home.

He is actually the only person in the club that has a garage, he has a miller stick welder that he can use to weld up your bracket no problem.

Will, you can't do the reading real good :flipoff2:

Jay12, I would suggest just taking an hour to swap in a new one in your parking lot. Not that having your old one repaired is bad, it's just cheap and easy to bolt in a new one and will take less time and effort than driving to Stables and having it welded.

Pretty sure I got that one just fine. Stables/vest are the only garage in the club. Yours is not a garage is my point.

Pretty much what I was going for... when people think of a garage they think I can pull my vehicle inside and work on it... I consider your shop.. just that a shop. Which I think is much more badass then a regular garage. But also when you tell people I have a shop.. I sure most people think badass a shop I can pull my vehicle in there.. what most people dont know is that your shop is full with two rigs that are not coming out any time soon :flipoff2: . So thats why I said Matt V/Stables are only ones that actually have a garage someone can pull their vehicle in a work on.

Edit But I do hope your bronco will roll out that nice ass shop in time for Windrock

I never even considered the difference in the two. I just always assumed people who didnt have tools/work on things in their garage weren't worth knowing lol. I am a more learned man now.
