WTB a small cheap welder

Post by KOTABAD »

Looking for a used small welder something to learn on. If anybody has a used welder they are trying to get rid of let me know or anybody have any recommendations on a new one thats pretty cheap yet decent.

Buy a nice used one. You'll be unhappy if you buy a cheap/crappy one. I'd suggest a Miller 140 or Hobart 125/140. You should be able to pick one up fairly cheap.

I dont think you need a name brand to start with.. I would pick up something like this for really cheap.. start practicing then pick up a nicer one once you get more interested in welding.

We actually looked at that one and emailed the guy and might look at it tomorrow. That is the plan to learn on a cheap one then move up from there
