Jeep stuck at Mtn Lake

Post by turnbull »

Me and Brett went to Mtn Lake today, and now my Jeep is stuck up there. We are heading back up tomorrow morning to get it out. Any help would be appreciated. Be warned, if you wanna help out, a winch is required, because that is the only reason Brett was able to get out. Tow straps and shovels would also be very helpful, but not necessary. Thanks in advance.

We just need to get up one hill. After that, I should be able to drive out.

The winch cable wasn't long enough to use a snatch block, and we didn't have enough tow straps to make it longer.

Right now there is only one, maybe 2 people helping, so I could use all the help I could get.

I am willing to help but considering I'm on smaller tires and no winch I feel like I would be in the way if I came up but if you absolutely need someone to help i can try my best.

I think we headed up around 3:15. After getting unstuck went back up to the lodge, then was back on 460 by 5:30. When we went up the road hadn't been plowed at all and there was a CRV we helped get unstuck halfway up. Later, the tractor that plowed the toad actually pulled me out of the ditch I had slid into. I also had my ECU power fuse blow so that was fun to diagnose.

If you had gone on the trail, you probably would have run into us. But its probably a good thing you didn't. One stuck vehicle is more than plenty.
