86 Toyota Crawler for parts or wheeling......

Post by Stinson »

So my 86 has rusted beyond the point that I have the time and or interest in fixing it. I sold the tires while they were still worth something because they were dry rotting. Selling the whole thing....wheel it till it dies, use it for parts to build another rig, whatever you want.

I have a set of 33" AT's on wheels if you want some tires to wheel with. It’s not going to break, the cage is tied into the frame, but the floor has hole in it and so does the frame.

Good parts:
Built toy axle with Longs and hub gears 4.10 diff with Aussie Locker

Rear IFS axle with a Tacoma E-locker
High Steer with TG 6 shooter arms
Dual Cases with 4.7 gears in the 2nd case
TG dual case cross member
heavy drive shafts
Good running 22R
Flat bed
Tool box
bilstein 14" shocks
Other random crap

Hate that you are selling it but someone here should buy it and if you dont I might.
Couple of question.
Is it currently running and driveable, just a safety issue due to rust?
30 spline longs?
63 cheys and RUF?

It does run and drive, it has been sitting and the frame has holes. The bed and exo has everything tied together......so it's not going to break, but there is a hole in the cab at the drivers floor.

30 spline longs
23 spline tcase input
RUF
63" springs out back

Always sad when an old member sells his rig.

One of the younger kids should buy this. I've seen it wheel a couple of times, solid truck.

I would be interested in just the rear elocker axle itself if you decide to just part it out

Damn Stinson. Sorry to see you getting rid of this thing.

Sure could use those 4.7s in Treehugger...and probably other parts.
