a properly abused toyota door makes a nice BWAAAANG noise when slammed shut, similar to beating a cookie sheet with a baseball bat. also, when dented to oblivion, by pushing outward from the inside, they will usually make that same noise, and pop back to place, looking better than when the truck rolled off the showroom floor. it's a proven fact.Flava-Puff Crawler wrote:Huhcookie-sheet what...

Care to explain for us non-engineers.
This is absolutely positively true, as I have witnessed it in person. 38.5" TSL swamper crushes the dog piss outta toyota cookie sheet steel, kid borrowing said truck laughs his ass off, blames Stallings then when tried to pull out it "twanged" and looked good as new. Too bad toyotas corners lights arent made of the same materail..yotacowboy wrote:by pushing outward from the inside, they will usually make that same noise, and pop back to place, looking better than when the truck rolled off the showroom floor. it's a proven fact.

This wasn't my fault. I still have a stuck caliper and need to figure out if I have a broken transmission mount. I have had no time to work on my jeep. I have one of the most important exams of my entire academic career on Monday and have spent every waking hour studying.affende wrote:what did you break this time?
