Kid I knew in HS had a cool Xterra. Gotta get some AT's on that. Don't want people to mistake you for a soccer mom :flipoff2:

Took me forever to find this picture:

Looks good

Ditch the running boards, throw some AT's on it and lets head to Uwharrie.

Thanks to Sam and Wong, I have 2" spacers and newer struts for the front and I picked up some factory off-road package skids and a set of adjustable, extended shackles for it. Looking for some 285s and the time to get it all installed now.

Doing some lift prep this evening. Cleaned up my Alcans a touch, swapped the hacked up yota spacers on my coil overs for proper Nisstec pieces, and gave everything a general once over. Now to get started on the install since all my pieces are finally here!

Those tires look too big. Did you at least stick some boggers under that X?

Hey Dave! That's the same size tire that some nut I know has on his 4x4 camp-a-gym-atorium of a van!

Boggers would be fun! I miss my Boggers.... :crybaby2:

Lift has begun!
Both Helwigs removed
Both shocks swapped
U-bolts off both sides
One Alcan in

Started around 5, worked about an hour and a half between pumping up neighborhood kids bike tires, a nice supper the wife fixed and packing everything back in the garage to close up for the night.

Okay what are the details on this lift? Leafs in the rear? Any extra springs in the pack? What are you doing up front? Progressive?

Rear is going from three leaf stock to a 7.5 leaf pack, +2.5" lift +500lb capacity. Shocks are Radflo and gong with Timbren active off-road bump stops which are more akin to helper springs. Also a u-bolt flip kit to get my nuts out of the dirt. :flipoff2:

Front is IFS and very short travel so progressives aren't warranted. What I have are Bilstein 5100s converted to an adjustable coil-over with Fat Bob's Garage adjustable collars and currently fitted with Eibach 600lb/in coils. Since I'm going to have a plate bumper in a few months with a winch, I'm considering throwing on the 650lb/in coils I have for it instead of having to go back under it again in a few months.

Rear lift is in. Just need to get new bolts for the bumps.

Hoping to at least get the front torn down tomorrow. Really need to be done by Saturday evening if at all possible!!
