I made this table for the machining area at my job. I am making one similar for my garage at home. I have the build plans and am going start making these to sell. It has been a fantastic table for everything from tinkering to heavy fab and welding. Will be changing the bottom of the frame slightly.
Details:
1/4" P&O 10xx CR steel top, does not rust indoors.
4'x8' (will do other sizes)
2x2" steel tube box frame
Wilton 8" vise mount (optional to whatever vise desired, supplied and installed or not)
Eyelets for airguns, etc if desired
Weighs about 500 lbs
Casters optional
$500 plus whatever vise you want added. Will deliver depending on distance.

Ever think about putting threaded bungs in the ends of the vertical legs so you can put leveling feet on it? Then you can bring up the horizontal members at the bottom high enough you could get a broom under it for cleaning.

I usually just vacuum under there once a month or so. The one I will be building for myself I am planning on putting casters on the legs. Then next ones won't have that lower frame member in the front either.BlueDodgeRam wrote:Ever think about putting threaded bungs in the ends of the vertical legs so you can put leveling feet on it?
