WTB - Solid Axle Yota

Post by JCook5003 »

Hey Guys this is going to sound awful funny after I just got done selling a big pile of yota parts, but a significant change in my financial situation for the better :flipoff2: has left me the option to restore my CJ for the wife and build a toy instead of wasting time throwing money at the heap I would be afraid to bend sheetmetal on.

So on to my wants....I would like to buy a running or close to running solid axle toy mini-truck or runner in pretty good shape, I would consider an IFS rig if a solid axle doesnt show itself soon?

Anyone know where one is or have one for sell? Drop me an email if so.

id suggest starting with an IFS rig. You will have
Wider rear axle,
IFS steering box,
better chance of a 22re
Prolly less rust
easier to find

I will keep an eye open for a truck. Im always looking. Whats your price range?

Thanks for the info on the IFS starting point. Just give me your truck + parts.

I would like to find a truck of the blown head gasket or something variety that someone just wants to get rid of in the $1-$1000 range? think that's feasable? I would spend more on a runner.

Yeah a while back on craigslist there was a running 85 runner for $700 seems like the owner thought it needed an engine rebuild or something looked pretty solid, never checked into it further. Oh well.

Thanks for the leads guys, I will be checking out the new trading post first big poop I work up.
