Maybe I should finish developing SOS's line of snorkels.

I would be up for a home made snorkel. I want to see the expression on my parents faces when i come home with one installed. They would shit a brick and possibly kill me.

my filter looked normal when i pulled it out. dusty, but normal. I'll probably be using an airflow snorkel coupled with a K&N cone filter housing to make room for an extra battery.

Henry you should get this and then convert the filter part so that it is a snorkel. Thats what i would like to do in the future when i have a winch on the front.

build a box around the filter and then run a custom snorkel from the box. It is probably cheaper then what you plan on doing and if you break the custom snorkel you wont feel as bad.
