Line X and window tint...where? bought a new truck

Post by rvin »

I bought a 98' V8 Dakota this weekend. I live in Gettysburg, PA and won a Dakota on eBay in Lyons, NY so I drove up there and got it this weekend. Been looking for one for the last month.

Anyone have any shops they recommend for Line X? I know prices vary from place to place so I emailed just about every one in VA and one in Mt. Airy, NC.

Also, anyone recommend any window tint companies in Blacksburg/Christiansburg/Roanoke? I'm looking to lightly tint the front two windows (35%).

Now I just need Christmas to come so I can do a SAS.

Thanks in advance for any info.

I had the Linex shop in Princeton do the inside of my YJ tub which cost $500 and was very pleased. They will be doing the inside/outside of the Lotus tub, when there is one.

There is a place in Salem that does Line X and does a good job. They did a skid plate for me for $30. I don't know the name (might just be linex), but I can tell you how to get there.

Thanks, I'll give them a call. Best price I found so far in all of VA, and some of MD is from Line-X of Roanoke.

6ft bed, over the rails: $469 with free ultrashield-uv protection if ordered by the end of month.

EDIT: The salem number didn't work and when I looked up Line-X dealers on the line-x website there was only one phone number for "Roanoke/Salem"

Anybody else interested in getting this done? Maybe they can cut us a deal if we bring in a couple people.

The quote I got for my 98 Dakota Club Cab was $419 under the rails + $50 over the rails. Includes free Ultrashield - UV Protection (March Promo). So $469 total. I was hoping we could get them down to $419 over the rails.
