86 4Runner

I'm selling my 86 4Runner.

It's in pretty decent shape for its age. Frame is solid, body has some rust, great platform for a build.

Here is a link for the Craigslist for pics:

I put $2000 in the ad but want it gone so make me an offer.

Re: drilling hardened steel?

Well............I got the stud out. But I have ruined the threads for the replacement. I found a 5/8" helicoil kit which I think could be the best options. Any other suggestions?

I might have to try this.

drilling hardened steel?

I have a broken spring stud in the housing of the D60. I drilled a hole and tried to remove the stud with an extractor and it broke off inside. Now I have a hardened extractor in the stud and none of the drill bits I have with even make a dent.

Any ideas?

Re: Camo Tj

Glad I had it to sell. It needed to be used anyway, cool stuff like a D300 can't just sit and waste away.

Good luck getting it set up, looks like you are well on your way.

I'm curious to know if you are planning to tie the two hoops together across the top of the engine.

Re: Dana 300

I cannot guarantee it isn't bad.

I have/had a plan that will require it disassembled anyway.

I can get some pictures this weekend.
